For undergraduate scholarships in Nigeria
- WAEC or NECO result
- JAMB result slip
- Admission letter
- Student ID card
- Latest CGPA statement or result slip
- State of origin or local government identification letter
- Passport photograph
- National ID (NIN) slip
For postgraduate and study-abroad scholarships
- Degree certificate or statement of result
- Official transcript (order early: some universities take weeks)
- International passport
- English test result or a letter confirming English was your medium of instruction
- CV
- Personal statement or statement of purpose
- Two or three recommendation letters
- Research proposal (for research degrees)
- NYSC certificate or exemption letter, where asked
Tips
- Scan documents as clear PDFs and name them sensibly
- Keep certified copies ready: some schemes ask for them at interview
- Check expiry dates on your passport early
